Jacque Donaldson

My name is Jacque Donaldson. I am a mother of six amazing children and live on a cattle property in Central Queensland.  My love for photography started at school when I was in the photography club learning how to develop film in the dark room.  There was just something magical about watching the images I’d taken slowly appear on paper.  I am extremely grateful for digital images though as being the mother of six the ability to take more images is priceless. My children have been the perfect subjects, watching them grow where I could document every precious little moment.  With my youngest off to boarding school, I decided to fulfill a lifelong dream of becoming a professional photographer.  They say you will never work a day in your life if you are doing what you love and that’s what I plan to do.  Just goes to show you are never too old to follow your dreams.  My passions are photography of course, family, horses and I absolutely love to travel.  My favourite types of images to capture are the unexpected ones.  No posing just real-life shots.  I love to try new things and ideas and am always up for a challenge.
